Commercial-grade vs. retail Christmas lights: what is the difference?
Commercial-grade products are chosen for repeated professional installation, consistent appearance and serviceability. The exact difference depends on the product type, but the system is built around professional use rather than a one-season retail purchase.
For rooflines, that means C9 LED bulbs, professional wire and clips selected for the attachment surface. For trees and shrubs, we use 5MM conical mini-light sets with commercial specifications.

Our C9 bulb options
Our C9 LEDs are 120V bulbs rated for a 60,000-hour lifespan and are available in warm white, pure white, multicolor and individual colors including blue, green, red, orange and yellow.
Our 5MM mini-light specifications
The 50-count 5MM sets use 6-inch spacing with a 25-foot lighted length, one-piece molded sockets, fully rectified construction, green 22-gauge wire and a rated bulb life of 75,000 hours. Up to 45 sets can be connected according to the product specification.
Why attachment hardware matters too
A premium bulb attached poorly can still create a poor result. We use socket-locking clips for common roofline applications, RidgeLine Pro clips for ridgelines and roof hips, magnetic clips where compatible with metal surfaces, and ground stakes for C9 pathway or perimeter applications.
